Setting a custom password policy for Shield

Shield allows you to create a password policy for all Shield users that is consistent with your internal security requirements.  

To customize your password policy, do the following:

  1. Login to your SHIELD account: https://shieldbcp.com
  2. Navigate to the ‘Administrator Tools’ component.
  3. Select ‘Password Policy’ from the menu on the left.
  4. Customize the options available to meet the password requirements of your organization.  
To revert to the original password policy, click the green ‘Revert to Default Password Policy’ button.

NOTE: The Shield mobile apps do not support Two-Factor Authentication.  If this option is enabled, users will be unable to login to the mobile apps to access their plan.
